This is a great application for us animators. It allows you to download videos from YouTube and then convert them to Quicktime format so you can scrub through them for that frame by frame study of movement.

Quick Notes:
Under the download tab there are lots of output formats.
The one that works in Quicktime is VCD (NTSC)

Overlapping Action

Overlapping Action is simply breaking up of the movement so that the motion does not
feel mechanical. This loosens up an animation and breaks up movement to things don't happen at the same time.
